WHY CUPS?

WHY CUPS? *
-
Menstrual cups collect rather than absorb, and are made from medical-grade silicone.
Toxic shock syndrome is lower for menstrual cups than any disposable absorbent products, like tampons and pads. Added bonus: they don’t rely on fibres or added ingredients no chemical residues or heavy metals.
-
One cup can last 5 to 10 years, which means far less repeat spend than pads or tampons.
By comparison, period products cost around £130 a year on average in the UK, adding up to roughly £4,940 over a lifetime. And that’s us being conservative.
-
Reusable period products create far less waste than single-use options.
In the UK, menstrual product disposal generates 28,114 tonnes of waste per year, and switching from tampons to menstrual cups can cut carbon impact dramatically.
Imagine never having to use a public bathroom bin again…
